Our Excimer Series pairs an ultra-matte, velvet-textured surface (below 5° gloss) with self-healing scratch recovery, stain resistance, and fingerprint resistance — a performance combination built for wall panels and furniture that need to look new well past the day they're installed. Available across four material bases, this series is compatible with a wide range of substrates.

The Excimer Series surface is engineered to recover from light surface scratches over time, in addition to carrying a 3–4H pencil hardness rating — a higher rating than standard matte films. In practice, this means fine scuffs from everyday contact (cleaning, handling, minor abrasion) gradually diminish rather than accumulating as permanent marks, which is a meaningful difference for furniture and wall panels in commercial or high-traffic residential settings where surfaces are expected to hold their appearance over years, not months.
This series is formulated to resist staining from common contaminants, including oil-based marker — marks from an oil-based pen can be wiped clean from the surface without leaving residue, a practical benchmark for buyers evaluating stain resistance claims. Combined with fingerprint resistance, the surface stays visually consistent in furniture and wall panel applications with frequent hand contact, without requiring specialized cleaning products.
This series is available on four material bases — PVC, PETG, GAG, and PP — allowing buyers to select the base material that best matches their cost target, processing method, and downstream compliance requirements. If you're unsure which base fits your application, share your substrate, processing method, and target market, and we can recommend the appropriate option.
This series laminates or wraps onto a wide range of substrate types, giving buyers flexibility to standardize on one film across multiple product lines:
If your substrate isn't listed here, share the material and surface condition with us — compatibility often depends on substrate density, surface flatness, and moisture content rather than material type alone.
1. How does the self-healing scratch feature actually work?
The surface is formulated to gradually recover from light scratches and fine surface marks over time, reducing their visibility without intervention. It's designed to handle everyday light abrasion — it isn't intended to repair deep gouges or cuts.
2. Can permanent marker or ink stains really be wiped off this surface?
Oil-based marker can be wiped clean without residue, which is the standard reference point used to demonstrate this series' stain resistance. Performance against other specific contaminants can vary — let us know what your application needs to resist and we can advise further.
3. Which material base should I choose — PVC, PETG, GAG, or PP?
The right base depends on your processing method, target market compliance requirements, and budget. Share your project details and we can recommend the most suitable option.
4. Is this series suitable for vacuum-formed or contoured furniture profiles?
This series supports flat lamination and wrapping. If your project requires vacuum-formed contoured profiles, let us know your application and we can advise on the best-fit option.
